• National Centre for Immunisation Research and Surveillance (NCIRS), Australia - this site!
  NCIRS is an Australian organisation that provides information on a wide range of infectious diseases, including an overview of measles-mumps-rubella vaccine and inflammatory bowel disease and autism.
• Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing, Australia
  This is the Australian government’s site containing information about the National Immunisation Program Schedules and Frequently Asked Questions.
• Immunisation Myths and Realities: a guide for providers (4th edition)
  This publication addresses many of the common concerns about the safety of vaccines. It has been written with health professionals in mind.
• World Health Organization (WHO)
  This World Health Organization site links to websites providing information on vaccine safety which adhere to good information practices.
• Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), USA
  This site provides comprehensive information about infectious diseases and vaccine research. It has useful general information on vaccination, much of it set out in question and answer format. There is a specific section on MMR vaccine. There is an additional part of this site dedicated to vaccine safety information.
• National Health Service, UK
  These are two websites by the UK National Health Service where you can access a range of resources, information and research about vaccination generally and specifically the MMR vaccine. You can also ask questions online.

Organisations opposed to vaccination:

• The internet contains information of varying quality about vaccination. The National Network for Immunization Information in the USA provides tips to help you navigate vaccination information on the web. There are many websites for organisations opposed to immunisation including The National Vaccine Information Center, the Global Vaccine Awareness League and The Australian Vaccination Network
• The New South Wales Health Care Complaints Commission investigated the Australian Vaccination Network (AVN) in 2010. The Commission has issued a Public Warning about the AVN which is found here.
