Australian Immunisation Professionals Network

NCIRS-AIP email discussion group

NCIRS is pleased to announce that there are now around 650 Australian immunisation professionals subscribed to the NCIRS-AIP email discussion group.

NCIRS-AIP is an electronic discussion group designed to facilitate communication between professionals involved in immunisation in Australia, whether at the level of research, policy development, or as immunisation providers. NCIRS-AIP provides:

  1. A forum for questions and feedback
  2. Regular international updates on immunisation news, notifications of news items, publications and meetings of interest, and summaries and commentaries on recent papers presented and discussed at the NCIRS Immunisation Journal Club.
  3. An avenue for rapid information about media controversies.

NCIRS-AIP is intended to be an interactive forum for debate as well as serving as a source of reliable information. Posts and responses are encouraged from all members and, in the interests of open and rapid communication, discussion content is not screened before distribution to the group. Senior NCIRS staff keep a watching brief on messages posted to the group and provide additional information where it is thought to be useful.

Ms Donna Armstrong, NCIRS Editing and Publications Officer, is responsible for membership administration for NCIRS-AIP. Content is also monitored by NCIRS staff for adherence to the NCIRS-AIP Guidelines for membership and operation.

NCIRS welcomes into the group all Australian professionals, as well as professionals in other countries who wish to learn more about immunisation in Australia, and/or wish to communicate their experience with us.

If you are interested in subscribing to this group, please go to the NCIRS-AIP – Australian Immunisation Professionals information page and follow the instructions located there.

Subscribing to NCIRS-AIP implies acceptance of Terms and Conditions contained in the Guidelines for membership and operation of NCIRS-AIP email discussion group.
