Postgraduate study
NCIRS has a range of research opportunities for students and professional trainees. We supervise projects in
- surveillance and epidemiology of vaccine preventable diseases
- disease modelling
- health economic evaluation
- vaccine programs
- special interest groups (e.g. refugees) and
- perceptions/behavioural aspects of immunisation and infectious diseases
Opportunities range from:
- PhD thesis projects
- Masters thesis projects
- undergraduate summer scholarships
We also offer professional placements for public health training programs such as the Masters of Applied Epidemiology (MAE) and the Public Health Officer (PHO) training scheme.
